The culmination of this research is intended to be a series of books that will exhaustively explore every detail of almost everything Brian Wilson and his family and band ever put on tape (or any other recording medium!), from the very beginning. The website is part of the initial phase of making that research available to the public; with key 60th anniversaries imminent, and lots of outdated information already out in the world, the primary goal of this online side to the project is to honor these landmark recordings by bringing the record up to date and introducing the world to our methods. We are starting with Pet Sounds, covered one song at a time in a series of essays, and we will continue to update the website with credits and information for various other projects. Check back often for news and developments as we work to disseminate our research.
